Loyola Stands Against Gun Violence hosted a gathering of Loyola and Chicagoland community members to discuss the power of voting, fighting for change, and advocacy strategies to reduce gun violence. The 2024 summit was led by an interdisciplinary committee of gun violence prevention activists including keynote speaker, X González, co-founder of March For Our Lives. This event aimed to educate and empower a generation raised on gun violence to take action within their communities.
In addition to the keynote, the summit included an advocacy workshop, panel discussions, and an exhibitor hall featuring local organizations fighting to end gun violence.
